Nanny's nightmare

Timely what with the drive for plain packaging, but I also chuckled at this:

This is irresponsible: using a reputable product to promote something laced with hazadous chemicals that create long-term damage to people’s bodies.
The ridiculous amount of salt, alone, in that Campbell’s soup could kill a person.
Funny, though when you consider that there really are people who think that way and they'd probably like the soup to be in a plain tin as well... maybe not so funny.

i'd like the soup to be in a plain tin if it meant they could make it cheaper...after all campbells and marlboro both have a well established brand and don't need to "lure" new customers with the packaging

That makes me think. Tesco <s>Shithouse</s> Value range still sells despite the plain packaging.
Someone was wishing yesterday that they'd taken out a patent on 'sleeves' to cover your plain white ciggie packet with the design of your choice. You just know it'll be the next big thing...

:)
Has anyone yet addressed the danger to children of secondhand soup eating? I suspect that Big Soup is behind this oversight.

I don't want to spoil your afternoon but the idea of second hand soup eating isn't all that far from being a reality: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secondhand_obesity
