Stony Stratford
Hope it went well, though a shame about the weather, and looking forward to reading the reports later today. Probably on the usual blogs since it's been a couple of weeks leading up to it and four and a half hours since 11am, and still the fucking MSM don't seem to have bothered reporting it.

Add insightful or amusing remarks for me to think on and respond to. Or add annoying comment spam for me to waste time deleting, in which case may your genitals turn square and fester at the corners.
Unnecessary ranting and gratuitous profanity is strictly encouraged.
NB - due to some annoying pricks comment spamming lately all comments with three or more any links go into a moderation queue. If it's not spam I will publish all comments even tenuously related to whatever I was rambling about in the post. Otherwise please refer to the comments policy.

BBC doesn't go into as much detail as the blogsites do. They end on a strange note, which to me sounds like they are proposing the method council would need to go about making Bartlett's ASH endorsed outdoor smoking ban law, how to enact and then enforce it - as if BBC is encouraging an outdoor smoking ban.
BBC says:
"If Stony Stratford Town Council votes in favour of the scheme at Tuesday's meeting it would have to ask Milton Keynes Council to use its powers to introduce the necessary by-law.
If implemented, the ban would be enforced by police community support officers."
That doesn't sound to me like the BBC was very much on the side of the people asking for their freedom but on the side of the council and bullies. It still sounds like biased reporting. But at least it made it into the news.
