Earlier I repeated Deep Throat's advice to follow the money, but I've mentioned before when talking about Big Eco that there are several reasons to keep it going. Protecting a reputation that's been nailed irrevocably to a particular mast is also a very strong incentive to keep holding that mast up no matter what.

I don't care if they and their reputations are nailed to the mast just so long as the mast in question is atattched to a vessel that is under several hundred feet of water, polar melt or otherwise!
I presume you have seen the Japanese satellite imagery which shows that the developing world is kicking out far more CO2 than the 'industrialised' world...funny how that hasn't turned up in the MSM ain't it?

Yep. You can find it in the MSM but only if you know where to look, which of course is blog pages of sceptical journos mostly. If it had found the opposite it would have been front page and above the fold.
