Greenpeace: not a charity, and that's official

Or at least it isn't in New Zealand where the not-a-charity-really-a-political-lobbying-group has just lost its charitable status there and been told by a court that they are in fact, well, not a charity but really a political lobbying group.

Watts Up With That has more. All I have to say is that it's high time someone somewhere recognised Greenpeace for what they are today rather than what they used to be. Oh, and one other thing:

Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

Wheels of justice move so slow, but at least it's a start. They're not the only fake-charity of course, there are others still hiding behind a false face getting away with political lobbying still and usually on the taxpayers' money.
Well done to the New Zealand legal authorities - I wish people here in England would realise what the true nature of this organisation is.
