Melbourne - a visitor's guide.
Video removed
St Kilda, eh? Yeah, you know what? Wouldn't surprise me either. NB if you've come across this after late February 2011 I can only say that the previous sentence would have made sense if you'd seen the video clip.

Add insightful or amusing remarks for me to think on and respond to. Or add annoying comment spam for me to waste time deleting, in which case may your genitals turn square and fester at the corners.
Unnecessary ranting and gratuitous profanity is strictly encouraged.
NB - due to some annoying pricks comment spamming lately all comments with three or more any links go into a moderation queue. If it's not spam I will publish all comments even tenuously related to whatever I was rambling about in the post. Otherwise please refer to the comments policy.

Yes, it was a distinctly seedy area when I lived there. That was part of the attraction! Lots of working girls lived around there, and lots of ne'er-do-wells. But a good area, too. Lots happening. Used to get all my groceries in Acland St - I lived in Smith St, which was a stone's throw away - virtually opposite, in fact. Handily, there was a drive-through bottle shop next door to the apartment too! Yes, I liked St Kilda. Very convenient.
