Newsflash!

According to The Age today nothing you read at The Onion is real.
It is one of the most popular "news" websites on the web, its stories have been picked up by numerous media organisations, and its videos have gone viral using social networking, spread across the web by thousands.

That's right: it's a fake. And it takes "no responsibility" for misleading those which have been led to believe a story is real, according to its director of digital, Baratunde Thurston.
OMGZ, I'll have to get my news from somewhere else.

All seems perfectly plausible to me.
'Kinell. Must be a slow news day in Melbourne for them to have resorted to this filler.
