Beer. It's English for Amber Fluid.



Good call perhaps, but shit beer. In fact I don't think I've ever seen the bother to advertise the stuff since I've been here.

And Scotch eggs are almost unheard of.

    My early twenties Oz cousin visited a couple of years ago; he expressed disgust when I offered to buy him a pint of that (or another 'Oz' beer).

    He told me that they have much better beer at home so I asked why don't they export that to UK.

    "Because the Oz brewers have already cornered the UK market with crap, why should they bother sending over the good stuff"

    I rather think that he might have a point.
