Mad woman in Alaska gives up job.

The Telegraph: Sarah Palin resigns as governor of Alaska in shock announcement.
The Times: Is Palin gearing up for White House bid?
The Australian: Collingwood Magpies banish Anzac Day nightmares by beating Essendon. ahem, Palin quites as Alaska governor.

So what? If the Republicans want another 4 years of the Obamessiah they can put her up for election in 2012 if they want, but if they're not completely mad they won't. Not our problem either way. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Shame about Essendon though. I honestly thought they'd win... hey, does Gordon Broon follow Aussie Rules football?

  1. President Palin is a terrible thing to imagine.

  2. Can't get worked up about it when it seems so unlikely, but I suppose as long as he hadn't forgotten all the words to The Lumberjack Song and is happy to do the dead parrot sketch on the White House lawn when asked it might not be so bad....

....oh, we're talking about Sarah again. Well, I can't get too worked up it about it when it seems so unlikely, but I suppose as long as she learns the words to The Lumberjack Song ;-)
