Popcorn IV

Blair too, which should come as a shock given that it's the man who promised to clean up politics and have a government that's whiter than white. But for some reason I can't explain it really isn't a surprise at all. His spin doctor gets it:
"I don't get shocked by much, but I was genuinely surprised by some of the things MPs are entitled to do and claim for.
"The question in MPs' minds as they submit expenses should not be 'can I get away with this?', nor even 'how will it look?', nor even 'is it within the rules?', but 'is it right?' Many expenses claims are justified. Many are not."
It comes to something when a spin doctor is explaining things in plain English for the benefit of politicians who can't see or don't care that allowances and expenses are there to reimburse them for reasonable costs, not to fucking enrich themselves.
